Galen Cunning: The Brainstormer. For whom no plan is the best plan. The kind of guy who says, “I know this isn’t feasible, but let’s try it anyways.” A chef who uses cooking as his magic carpet to the good life. Also is an overgrown child who likes to play; it doesn’t matter how: riding bikes or boards, tossing darts, slamming dominoes. Took a risk by quitting his job for this adventure; some think it’s crazy, others say it’s the road less travelled.
Stacey Barnes: The Planner. The kind of girl who needs her ducks lined up, counted, organized by color and size, then placed in appropriate boxes and labeled. A former teacher turned furniture refurbisher, baker, South Park addict, and blogger. Loves coffee, wine, chocolate, and singletrack. And pretty flowers. And high heels. And anything vintage (read old). Believes that life has a funny way of working out and that all people have something to teach: we just need to pay attention.

Here is the quote from my Quebec photobook that you liked Stacey…
“Voyage, travel, and change of place impart vigor to the mind.” -Seneca
Also in that photobook was the Confucius quote: “A journey of a thousand miles starts with just one step.” This one that has been ringing through my head for about a month now.
In the scheme of “hippy quotes” that we have going on, I heard one recently which I personally like:
“Everything that HAD to happen, has happened…and everything that MUST happen, will happen.”
And then I tack on my own little Buddhist wisdom at the end:
“So why f***ing bother worrying about either??”
